24 Must Have Trout Patterns

Charlie Craven,owner of Charlie’s Fly Box in Arvada, Colorado , recently (5/1/20) shared a link on Facebook called 24 Must Have Trout Patterns.  The link is to a Fly Fisherman Magazine YouTube playlist  with tying videos for each of the twenty four flies.  If you’re a fly tier, each of the videos are presented by Charlie.  His tying tutorials a nothing less than fabulous.

I share a similar sample fly box with my fly fishing students.  It is one of the top ten questions they ask.  Here’s the list of flies:
